Public Foundation of Hope signed a cooperation agreement with the Tallinn Social and Health Care Board to offer weekly experience counseling in Tallinn’s sobering house for the next two years. A tender was organized by the city to provide the service, after which a contract was signed.
In the spring of 2023, in cooperation with the Tallinn Social and Health Board and the Tallinn sobering house, a two-month pilot project for counseling clients, took place in the spring of 2023, which gave positive results and provided inputs for continued cooperation. Due to the success of the pilot project, the Tallinn Social and Health Board decided to continue financing the counseling service in the sobering center until the end of 2023, and a tender was carried out to provide the service for the following two years.
The purpose of the service is to motivate clients to change their lifestyle and come out of a destructive lifestyle step by step with the support of a counselor. Counselors Viljam Borissenko, Sander Viilup and Sander Kukk carry out consultations and the necessary follow-up work in the sobering house.
