On May 2.-5., the Teen Challenge European conference was held in Warsaw, where the representatives of the Public Foundation of Hope, Samaaria Mission in Estonia and Salvation Army also participated. In total, representatives of more than 30 countries came, mostly from Europe, but also from other places. Everyone gathered is serving in daily bases to substance abusers and in today’s situation also to refugees. At the conference, the heads of various rehabilitation centers presented their work and their development history, challenges and victories. It was encouraging to hear that we are not alone, the problems and solutions are similar in many ways around the world.
The Teen Challenge network includes more than 1,400 residental rehabilitation centers and day care centers all over the world, where nearly 15,000 addicts are helped every day.
