On May 5-8, the Teen Challenge European Conference took place in Prague, which was also attended by representatives of the Public Foundation of Hope together with the staff of the Samaaria Mission of Estonia. Representatives from more than 30 countries came together, mostly from Europe, but also from elsewhere. On their own countries everyone helping in daily bases addicts, their families, and in today’s situation also, refugees. At the conference, various leaders of rehabilitation centers presented their work and the history of development, challenges and victories. It was encouraging to hear that we are not alone, the problems and most important, solutions, are very similar around the world.
The Teen Challenge network includes more than 1,400 residental rehabilitation centers and day care centers around the world, helping nearly 15,000 addicts every day.
