The Public Foundation of Hope, in cooperation with Oleviste congregation, Valguse Tee congregation and many other organizations and private individuals, once again delivered an aid shipment to Ukraine.
The trip to Ukraine took place from September 24 to October 3, where Viljam Borissenko and Sander Kukk drive there loaded with medicine and hygiene items, laundry and socks, tea-coffee and canned goods, gifts for children, electronic devices, battery banks, generators and etc.
During the trip, they visited the “Dom Pira” rehabilitation center in Uman. Also they visited City of Krivoi Rog, congregations there led by Bishop Valery Grigorash, where most members are involved in preaching the Word of God and helping people in the Kherson region. The congregation also has construction projects, for example, the kindergarten in the village of Bela Krõnitsa, which was damaged during the war, is currently in restoration process. Despite the poverty and deprivation, the people of Ukraine are kind, humble, and thankful.
Such a trip to deliver aid to Ukraine was the third in a row. On the first trip, we took together with our Swedish friends there VW Amarok ambulance, which still serves the wounded at the front.
We are grateful to be able to help friends of Ukraine together with many donors.
