The Public Foundation of Hope, in cooperation with the Oleviste congregation and many other organizations, also included individuals, has delivered aid to Ukraine.
The last trip took place on last days of 2022, where Viljam Borissenko and Sander Kukk visited Krivoi Rog and Uman. The car load contained generators, car batteries, inverters, power banks, battery lights, flashlights, batteries, battery chargers. Also hygiene items, warm clothes, canned goods, nuts and also yellow-blue bags put together by Oleviste children as gifts for Ukrainian children.
During the trip, they visited the “Dom Pira” rehabilitation center in Uman, the city of Krivoi Rog and its surroundings. They met „House of Bread“ church bishop Bishop Valery Grigoraš and military chaplain Yevgeni Kazjakov, who himself is a former addict and today, among others, serves soldiers at the front line. Sander and Viljam heard wonderful stories about how God protects in the midst of difficulties, how churches are growing in Ukraine, and God miraculously protects soldiers on the battlefield. Despite the poverty and challenges, the people of Ukraine are so kind, thankful and how they trust the Lord.
Such a trip to deliver aid to Ukraine was the third in a row, before that, in October 2022, there was an opportunity to bring mainly food and hygiene supplies, as well as a minibus to help the peaople in Herson area. On the first trip, we took together with our Swedish friends there VW Amarok ambulance, which still serves the wounded at the front.
We are grateful to be able to help friends of Ukraine together with many donors.
